A sports writer based in Hoquiam, Wash. is stuck without an outlet to release his spleen on anything and everything. Life is full of upper-class twits and they need to be dealt with... Lemon Curry?
Boredom is a terrible thing...

This is a test of the emergency haiku system....

To know me is to
believe me when I say that
work is just a bore.
••••••••
Arguing on the Web
is kind of silly, even when you
believe you are right!
••••••••
My mind is made up
of worthless, obscure things, like
bread crumbs under your toaster.
••••••••
Liberals, Conservatives
They're all just labels to me!
Can't we get along?
••••••••
When will it all end?
A meteor from the sky or
crossing the street today?
••••••••
Yes, honey, I can hear
you? But the Niner game is on?
Oh? OK? Here they are!
••••••••
Sit at home, drink my
beer, play golf on the PS2 and
grow just a little older.
••••••••
A knock on my door.
Would you like to buy some candy?
Schools need the money bad.
••••••••
Jump off Niagra
Falls, break a few ribs, join the
circus on the border.
••••••••
Politcs, politics, pols
Civil service just isn't what
it used to be past.

This was a test of the emergency haiku system. If this had been an actual emergency, the author would have been working instead of sitting here typing this. Thank you. This was a test of the emergency haiku system.

Originally my comment was to be "no comment", but I'm in a more sarcastic mood this morning after sleeping on this post.

You need a hobby. Haiku isn't it.

I wanted to resign from my last position using a Haiku commenting on my boss's lack of managerial skills (and other.... body parts). My husband wouldn't let me. Sometimes, he just doesn't see the opportunities for true fun!

Scrolling down through your blog, finally had to comment. This is definitely one of those blogs you pat yourself on the back for finding and tell yourself "I must read this more!" good good stuff.
